Her life mission is to encourage counseling, healing and remind everyone that recovery is possible. If God gave us another day, then we all have hope for a better life. Her dream, initial post and sharing her story for the first time publicly started Service Dog Strong, one of the first nonprofits in the country to provide Service Dogs to SA and MST Survivors. Her Service Dog Gunnar, gave her so much confidence that she wanted to pass on this freedom and confidence to other survivors who were ready. Service Dogs are great tools to encourage healing for multiple conditions.

My Mission
To share my story and experience to encourage other Survivors not to give up on themselves and recovery. To raise awareness that PTSD can be acquired from SA, gun violence and other less talked about traumas. To encourage the use of Service Dogs with SA Survivors and other PTSD survivors. My chapter contribution to the book ''Animal Assisted Therapy use Application by Condition" edited by Eric Altschuler, published by Elsevier 2023, is the leading medical research proving the multiple benefits of service dogs and other therapy animals for PTSD and many other conditions.

To live in a peaceful world where mutual respect, equality and acceptance of every human being and animal is treasured.

My Goal
To help others find their own healing path. I want to show the world that recovery is possible from all types of traumatic events with the help of God accompanied by the stength to never give up. A service dog by your side is a great start too!
