A worldwide published author writing for Elsevier, and PTSD expert who speaks from personal experience on how PTSD is treatable.
She is an Army veteran, Nonprofit founder, Military Sexual Trauma Survivor, Mother and Service Dog advocate.

PTSD trauma doesn't have to turn into a life sentence of depression and fear. Turn PTSD into positivity. Simone shares her story to raise awareness for military sexual trauma, PTSD, intimate partner violence and addiction. Her mission is to encourage healing and remind everyone that recovery is possible. She founded one of the first-ever nonprofits to give Service Dog's to SA-PTSD Survivors. Her own Service Dog Gunnar, gave her so much confidence, she wanted to pass this freedom to other survivors who were ready. She raises awareness that PTSD can be acquired from many different traumas, not only combat and that PTSD is treatable with mindset, action and physical changes.

My Mission
To share my story and experience to encourage other Survivors not to give up on themselves and recovery. To raise awareness that PTSD can be acquired from SA, gun violence and other less talked about traumas. To encourage the use of Service Dogs with SA Survivors and other PTSD survivors. My chapter contribution to the book ''Animal Assisted Therapy use Application by Condition" edited by Eric Altschuler, published by Elsevier 2023, is the leading medical research proving the multiple benefits of service dogs and other therapy animals for PTSD and many other conditions.

My Goal
To help others find their healing path. To show the world that recovery is possible from any type of trauma. With the help of a higher power and a service dog by your side you can be unstoppable!
